It is 2019, not the 15thcentury. Natural direct sunlight, fresh unobstructed air, and a view of gardens that may have been there for over two-hundred years or more can today be obliterated by one decision and signature for ever more. The creativity, art and the respect of aesthetics, part of our very own heritage, from renowned Maltese Architects are today being desecrated at alarming rates for nothing more than profit. Yes, there are laws and institutions for objections, yes; there are avenues available for appeal. But, the man and the woman in the issue know the truth, the populace know the workings because they have experienced the injustice of the false institutions.
